We are BETT 2014 Finalists!!!!

We're really happy to announce that we have been nominated as a finalist in the ICT Tools for Learning and Teaching category of the BETT Awards 2014.

The BETT Awards are a celebration of the inspiring creativity and innovation that can be found throughout technology for education. The awards form an integral part of BETT each year, the world’s leading showcase of education technology solutions. The winners are seen to have excelled in ICT provision and support for nurseries, schools, colleges and special schools alike with a clear focus on what works in the classroom. Each year, the awards endeavour to recognise, reward and promote this excellence.

It's our own in-house software "Planet eStream" that has been nominated, if you're not aware what Planet eStream does then in a nutshell it is "The complete digital media streaming and archiving solution".  However we recommend you check out the Planet eStream website at www.planetestream.co.uk and read more about it there...

BETT is the biggest technology show in the world for education and we love being apart of it every year. We have been attending BETT now for the last 12 years and this year we have some truly innovative ideas to show off.

We will be on stand B290 showing off Planet eStream but we will also be showcasing our NEW Planet MovieBox range of mobile TV studios contained within secure, robust flight cases. They include equipment for filming and live production in the classroom including green screen and virtual sets, video editing, storyboarding and stop motion animation. The Planet team will be joined on stand by students from Cliftonville Primary School in Kent for the duration of the BETT Show. The students will be our ‘Media Crew’ and will be carrying out interviews and using their iPads to record video and audio on the fly. They will produce their videos live using our ‘on stand’ TV studio and mobile studios to demonstrate the ease of creating innovative and engaging videos quickly.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony hosted by Jo Brand at the Brewery in London on 22nd January 2014.  So if you are down there then please say hello and join us in what will be a brilliant evening.
